Traditionally, Geisha used rice bran for softening both their hair and skin. They bathed their hair in the water left after uncooked rice was rinsed. They were certainly using something powerful, as it turned out to be a powerful natural emollient and antioxidant. Rice helps in protecting against UV damage. It helps in preventing wrinkles and in nourishing your skin. When you want flawless complexion, you should be using rice.





Ingredients:

  • Rice – 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Milk – 1 tbsp
  • Honey – 1 tbsp

How to Prepare?
  • Put rice in cold water and cook slowly over medium heat.
  • Once it gets cooked, you should strain it while saving the liquid.
  • The well boiled and drained rice should be washed in cold water. Add a tablespoon of warm milk to it and stir well.
  • Then add 1 tbsp of honey.

Then cleanse your face and neck and apply this mask. Allow it to live on your face of 30-60 minutes. Rinse it using the same liquid that was used for cooking the rice.
Additional Tips:

The rice water can be stored in your fridge for up to 4 days. It can be used as your facial toner in the morning and evening. It can also be frozen into ice molds and used for massaging your face.
