Brit Conspiracy Theorist, 39, Found Dead After Texting, ‘If Anything Happens To Me, Investigate'

A British conspiracy theorist who was going to Poland to give a talk on UFOs was discovered dead on a sofa, days after he sent out a chilling text to his mum.

Max Spiers, 39, was going far for himself on the planet of conspiracy theories however he was apparently concerned that his work was making him a target.

In a text to "mum" Vanessa Bates, Max, who was once a classmate of Orlando Flower, wrote: "Your boy's in trouble. If anything happens to me, investigate."

Max's body was discovered days later on in Warsaw and he was ruled to have actually died from natural causes - despite no post-mortem evaluation being carried out on his body.

Now Vanessa believes her son's dark investigations into UFOs and federal government cover-ups might have made his opponents who wanted him dead.

Strange death: Max Spiers was discovered dead on a sofa in Poland (SWNS).

Vanessa said: "He was making a name for himself in the world of conspiracy theorists and had been invited to speak at a conference in Poland in July.

" He was sticking with a woman who he had not known for long and she informed me how she discovered him dead on the sofa.

" However I believe Max had been digging in some dark locations and I fear that somebody wanted him dead.".

Max, from Canterbury, made a career from examining UFO sightings and declared cover-ups.

More just recently, he was stated to be penetrating into the lives of widely known figures in politics, organisation and entertainment.

His inexplicable death, and its subsequent treatment by the authorities, has left many online followers convinced he was killed by government representatives.

On one website, Task Camelot, a blogger wrote: "The entire circumstances are suspicious and I advise everyone to encourage the release of information about exactly what really occurred and require an autopsy.".

Investigations: The Brit had been going far for himself worldwide of conspiracy theories (SWNS).

Another, Craig Hewlett, included: "If it wasn't real exactly what he discusses then why would they eliminate him? Healthy people do not just get ill and pass away, they get poisoned.".

Vanessa is starting to think the theories herself.

She added: "Max was a very in shape guy who remained in good health but he apparently just dropped dead on a sofa ...

" Obviously, he had not suffered any apparent physical injuries however he might have been gradually poisoned, which is why the outcomes of toxicology tests from his post-mortem are so essential".

A post-mortem examination was performed by a pathologist in east Kent, but Vanessa states that more than two months later she still does not know the outcome, or whether there will be an inquest.

The North East Kent coroner's office would only validate the death was at the "very early" stages of investigation.
